Description
The light itself is the point, not the lamp. Aimed at a plain wall from a metre or so away, it casts a wide amber circle that fills the corner of a room with the colour of late afternoon. Move it closer and the circle tightens; further back and it softens across the whole wall.
At 19 cm tall with a 3 cm head, the unit is meant to be hidden. Tuck it behind a plant pot, on a low shelf or on the floor behind furniture, and what people notice is the light rather than the source. The neck bends, so you set the angle once and leave it.
It runs on USB, which means no fixed installation and no dedicated socket. Plug it into a laptop, a USB adapter or a power bank and it works.
Popular for photographs and video, where the wash of colour does in one step what would otherwise take a lighting setup.
