Safety information
For dry indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, near sinks or anywhere exposed to steam, as moisture will mark and warp the wood. Wipe clean with a dry or barely damp cloth — do not soak. Distribute weight evenly across the shelf and do not overload the upper tier. Not suitable for use as a step or seat.

Description
A shelf is usually half empty vertically. Mugs take up 9 cm of a 30 cm gap, and the rest of that space does nothing. This riser splits it into two, so the same footprint holds twice as much.
The low
r tier is the deeper of the two at 14 cm, which suits mugs, jars and tins. The narrower top shelf at 10 cm is better for smaller items — spice jars, a tea caddy, pens, a small plant. Both are open on all sides, so you reach in from wherever is convenient rather than lifting things over a rail.
At 30 cm wide it is deliberately modest. It fits inside a cupboard, on an open shelf, or on a desk beside a monitor, in the kind of gap where a full shelving unit would not go.
The stained wood is what separates it from the wire and plastic alternatives. It reads as furniture rather than storage, which matters when it sits out in the open rather than behind a cupboard door.

- Doubles the usable surface of a shelf without taking more worktop
- Open sides mean you slide things in from either end
- Warm stained wood instead of the usual white plastic or wire
- Lower tier clears 14.5 cm, enough for most mugs and jars
- Sits ready to use with no assembly or tools
